RPM of Virginia

"I believe that all persons with autism and other related learning differences are born with an innate desire to learn. It is my job is to adjust my teaching so that the affected learner can be an active participant in the learning process. Together with families, I aim to help individuals improve their skills leading to independence, achieve to their highest potential and encourage lifelong learning."

Our work allows individuals to learn and access age level content while expanding communication skills. The full gamut of communication skills are taught including: pointing, spelling, speaking, typing, writing and reading in order to engage with others in a functional, effective, and efficient manner. Our mission is to help individuals achieve to their highest potential using a total communication approach.
